A Wonderful Weekend at Ally Pally and a Chance to Win!

It was great to see everyone at Ally Pally at the weekend and I hope you all enjoyed the show!

Our Design Team member Heidi did a fabulous job demoing on our stand and I wanted to share some of the amazing cards she made.  The first one (above) is made with one of the new Red Gingham Christmas designs 'Good Morning Robin' - it's a very clever design because, if you look carefully, you'll see that the circle with the stamped design on it is suspended by a piece of thread so it spins round in the card!  On the other side of the circle, Heidi has put one of the Red Gingham Christmas Text sentiments.
This next card is a very stylish black and white stepper card using the same stamp - doesn't it look different using the black and white colour scheme?  On the main panel Heidi has used one of our new Glitter Sparkle Sheets - mess free sparkle!

This next card uses the 'Deck the Horns' stamp - a lovely circular card in a blue colour scheme.

And here's another gorgeous Christmas card using 'Mr Darcy's Christmas Post' - a red and white theme complete with bunting!

And finally a card made with the 'Spikey Flowers' stamp - another elegant black and white design.

Heidi was a very brave bunny doing a demo in front of a hundred ladies!  I'm sure everyone who came along enjoyed it - we'd love to hear your feedback!!

It would be lovely if you could leave a comment - let us know your favourite thing about going to shows and also which of the cards in this post you like the best.  On Thursday at 12 noon, we'll pick out five lucky winners who will each receive the stamp used to make their favourite card.  Plus, we've altered our blog so that anyone who doesn't have a blog account should now be able to leave a comment.

  2. All these cards are fab, but I think I like the bottom one best. The best thing about going to shows is being able to see and handle all the items. Quite often on the internet you can't tell how big (or small!) a stamp is.

  8. I love going to shows and will be attending one in belfast in a few weeks, the best thing about going to the shows is the inspiration you get, I love to watch people craft and always end up getting new idea's for my own cards. Your cards are all gorgeous but my favourite has to be that beautiful reindeer 'Deck the horns', the stamp is so cute and funny and i love the colours and swirls you've used on the card, great job! hugs Donna x

  9. Well its got to be the black & white "Good Morning Robin" card. Absolutely beautiful card, mind you they are all extremly beautiful cards, hard to choose a favourite. As for the shows, its so great to get to meet other crafters, but also to talk the stand owners and really get a good idea about the different products and get more ideas on how to use them. See various different demos, its a great learning experience.

  18. All the cards are fab. My favourite is the black and white stepper card. I love black and white cards, for any occasion, they always look so elegant.
Didn't make it to Ally Pally, hopefully next year. Keep up the good work xx from Linda (in the IOM)

  19. All the cards are lovely, but my favourite is the spikey flowers - a very "useful" stamp! It looks so elegant in your example. At shows I love to see stamps/products in real life. When you see the items online it's not always easy to work out the size - and only by seeing the stamps can you judge the quality (depth etc) - plus the details don't always show well in pictures.
